Riley “Tate” Parker, age 21, went to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 11th, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Tate was a Junior in college at Eastern Kentucky University and employed full time at Senture, LLC as a CSR in London, KY.

Tate was born September 12th, 1996 in Louisville, KY, at Norton Hospital. He was the son of the late Bradley David Parker and is survived by his mother Kathy Parker-Sizemore, as well as his Step-Father Dewayne Sizemore of Tyner, KY. Tate was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Tyner, KY.

Tate was survived by his Aunt Stephanie Hicks McQueen whom was always more like his sister than his Aunt, along with her husband Ivan McQueen both of McKee, KY. Also surviving Tate is his very special Grandmother, MamMam Margaret Hicks and his Step-Grandfather Amon Sizemore both of Tyner, KY. Other special family members surviving Tate are his Uncle Ronnie Hicks, wife and Aunt Sharon Kay of Tyner, KY, Uncle Brian Hicks of Tyner, KY. Uncle Jeff Parker, wife and Aunt Amanda Parker of London, KY and Clay Gregory, Manchester, KY. Also are Special Uncles Harold and Homer Strong of Richmond, KY. In addition he is survived his Aunt Robbin Parker-Robinson, husband Billy Robinson of Manchester, KY and his two very special cousins, Autumn Parker Collins and Summer Parker whom were also more like sisters. Tate is survived by his two best friends, Travis Hutcherson and Quinton Hisel both of Tyner, KY.

Tate’s favorite hobbies included riding his RZR and getting muddy, playing video games with his buddies (especially Fallout), fishing, camping and while not a hobby he enjoyed reading his Bible most of all. Tate was loved and admired by so many people as a servant and disciple of God; having been such an inspiration and a blessing to everyone he met. Tate has persevered and been such a strong and resilient young man going thru so many difficulties in his young life, but he always gave glory and honor to God for providing him with this ability and endurance. Tate fought a lengthy and difficult battle with Marfan Syndrome, but never allowed this disease to define who he truly was in life. His commitment and lasting relationship with God would be one we are all sure that he would want his family and friends to experience and share in their own lives.
